Cafe Bateel,A globally renowned Mediterranean Cafe and Restaurant offers to its diners an ultimate gourmet experience.We can enjoy scrumptious gourmet cuisine in a warm and sophisticated ambiance. With many branches across,we recently visited their branch in Marina walk and loved every bit of it.Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our scrumptious meal with the beautiful view of Dubai Marina. The service and the presentation are very good.. but the food itself is average.. I tried 4 items from the menu and they were all average , with overpriced menu I dont understand what all the hype is about ..

Always a solid spot for breakfast or lunch. I love very close to it and it’s nice to go for a stroll and get some grub at Bateel. After lunch I stop by Sbux next door and continue on my walk. Great place to have a chat with friends or even work from there and it’s breezy and next to the water. I’ve plenty of their dishes and they are all good.

Nice food .nice date sparking drinks. Signature lamb shoulder risotto is tasty, the risotto full of favour with chewy testure,nice. Seafood risotto has 3 big fresh shrimps, the rice a bit hard like desert, creamy sauce is nice.

I againcame back to Cafe Bateel today 1 November 2021 (12:30). The organisation was not as good as usual and the service suffered because of this. However, i picked out one young lady named 'Yasmine' who was a stand out player, she worked like a Trojan and her service prompted me to give the establishment a 4 star rating based on today's overall performance rather than the 3 star rating i was tempted to give. To put things in perspective, as long as i have been using this chain of restaurants the food has been consistantly good. But the orgaisation and service in various branches goes from mediocre to great, but there seems to be no consistency in this aspect of the business.

I tried the breakfast menu. The food is delicious and tasty. The price is little bit on the high side especially with relatively smaller portion size.

Lovely food. I had the date toast, Belgian waffles, tuna sandwich and chicken club. All were very delicious. Their coffee is average

What a pleasure finding this place today. For those who are looking for quality and a tasteful food … just have a seat and enjoy there. Suraj the waiter was very helpful guiding us through the menu and choices available. Thanks for this customer experience!

One of our default breakfast/lunch places when we have visitors. Is this place a bit overpriced? Yes. Is it nice for a meal / hot drink with dessert? Definitely. Pluses: - Fresh bakery: you get freshly baked, delicious bread with your meals. You can buy it to go, or just enjoy bread basket when you dine in - Menu: Very diverse menu for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We always have plenty of options to choose from. I quite like their soups (e.g. asparagus soup, tomato soup, pumpkin soup are all good), also breakfast options are nice (e.g. french toast - if you're lucky it'll have more crunch on the outside) - Desserts: please give them a try, they are so tasty! I think desserts are the reason I am a loyal customer. My favorites: blueberry cheesecake, kholas pistachio pie, salted caramel & dark chocolate mille feuille.. Basque cheesecake is quite nice as well.. There's a lot of options to choose from depending on your mood - Service: majority of times the service is good - Outdoor seating area: Never sat indoors (that area got renovated recently), but the outdoor area is quite nice, it's next to the marina so you have a pleasant view, and the restaurant is conveniently located a few minutes walk to the metro/tram stations on the marina Minuses: - Price tag: quite high in comparison to many other places - Inconsistency: of service and food quality. One of my favorites - french toast - sometimes comes nice and crunchy on the outside, sometimes more soft and soggy... I like the food here overall but as I tend to come regularly I sometimes notice inconsistencies - Matcha quality: Very low quality matcha unfortunately... I see bateel as a sign of quality so I was a bit disappointed in it.. I think they are using lower grade, cooking quality matcha (vs drinking, ceremonial grade) which you can see by the color of the drink, and can taste as it's more bitter and powdery (also you get clumps in your drink as it's not whisked properly).. We did order drinks and tea, one of the smoothies came with a fly, the answer was we are in open air area so its normal. Another drink was wrong order. The atmosphere and way / behavior of waiters was not friendly
