Amaseena

The BBQ meat and other main dishes at this restaurant were very good, but the seafood was below average. The atmosphere was great, with a talented oud player adding to the ambiance.

Had the chance of eating at Amaseena on January 20, 2023. I was so impressed by the personal touch of Chef Tufiq and our server, Jackson. Chef Tufiq took the time to explain how each of the gourmet dishes were prepared, making the experience so rich and personable. If restaurant means restoration, his personal touch to Amaseena makes the experience even more meaningful. The food was superb and the services were unmatched. I would recommend this restaurant highly for anyone who wants to experience Syrian gourmet dishes from a chef who understands the meaning of restoring the soul through food and human kindness.

The Ramadan Iftar wasnt worth the value. Spread was limited to Moroccan meals, staff was mainly trainees and had no idea about the content or even names of dishes, tea and coffee not covered in the buffet price of AED 249. Ambience and seating is nice though in the open areas. However, they did tell us that we had a choice to sit indoors which was not the case. Sayed was a friendly and helpful staff. Tawfik, the chef, was very keen on making us comfortable!

So so disappointed. This was our first hotel iftar this year. We chose the ritz, thinking that it has to be good. I was very wrong. After many years of visiting various beautiful iftars around dubai, this one was unbelievably drab and lack luster. It is a few meters away from an active construction site, with huge cranes and construction noise constantly. For 260 dhs per person, the food was boring and underwhelming. The selection was small and honestly the food did not taste good. All the food was cold unfortunately as it was windy. The service was bad. No one was really around. It was iftar, and you would expect extra care for those fasting, but there was none of that. For example, no one poured your water, or came to check on you. The dessert selection was poor. Small platters of a few pastries that were smashed when we got there. The rest was baklawa etc. They had an ice cream fridge which looked nasty. There were dead bugs inside the fridge and it looked grimey. We did mention all this directly to the manager. We told him how disappointed we were, he literally had no response. We paid and left. If I could compare it to something, it would be like being at a 2star restaurant someone near the creek. Same set up, same food quality. If you are looking for a beautiful, elegant, peaceful iftar, worth 260 per person, THIS IS NOT IT.

Enjoyed a pan-arab dinner buffet at the Amaseena restaurant . You pay 249aed which gets you grilled meat or pay an extra 50aed to include the seafood grill. The waiters were every attentive especially the sous chef, armaan. There's a selection of different salads , teas, grilled meats and desserts to choose from. We also got to watch a drone lights performance while enjoying live music. My ratings out of 5: Food: 3.5 - most dishes were average for the price. Star dishes were the grilled lamb chops , grilled prawns, shawarma, syrian tea, the mocktails (arabic oasis), hummus, spicy tangine. Ambience: 4.5 - nice cools breeze, works as a romantic setting but also works for families as well. There's live music supplemented by the sound of the sea. Service: 5 -impeccable. Staff were very attentive and proactively looking to help and chat.

Expensive, lousy food and medicore show. Not recommended. Supposdly morocan food but nothing moroccan about it and taste bad. Belly dancer has no clue. Music selection is a night mare. Singer is the worst I have heard or seen in a restaurant. Clearly the management of this hotel did experience Arabic culture and food. I recommend they close it down u till they have better mangement. The only thing positive is an open area in winter

Amaseena at Ritz Carlton is a place you must visit in Dubai especially during winter.They are featuring middle eastern favorites on their themed nights (every wednesday & Thursday). Their outdoor seating is so gorgeous and we can enjoy shisha and scrumptious middle eastern buffet at Amaseena.Their hot and cold mezze are too good.Live grill station offers juicy and delicious grills. Besides the scrumptious middle eastern buffet,diners can have a lovely evening here at their Bedouin inspired tents enjoying the live arabic music,fascinating belly dance and the beautiful view of Ain Dubai . Had iftar here, great ambience. They have an Arabian souk themed buffet area with a range of good quality mainly Arabian dishes. Their ballroom has been converted to a formal majlis area with a modern twist. Enjoyed it!
