Scholarships and Grants for Academic, Creative, and Athletic Achievements at Leading Dubai Schools

In Dubai, several schools offer a limited number of scholarships each year for middle and high school students based on academic, creative, and athletic achievements.

Arcadia British School offers the "Pioneer" scholarship program for students entering grades 7, 10, and 12. Scholarships include discounts of up to 50% on tuition for outstanding academic achievements, up to 30% for creative accomplishments, and up to 30% for athletic achievements.

Safa British School provides scholarships for students in grades 7–13 with exceptional academic performance. The scholarship typically lasts for one year and covers up to 50% of the tuition fees.

Safa Community School offers a one-year scholarship for students in grades 4 and 5 who excel in sports, performing arts, music, and academics. The scholarship amount can cover up to 100% of the tuition fees.

Kent College Dubai offers scholarships for high school students with discounts of up to 50% for two years. Scholarships are awarded for academic, athletic, and creative achievements, as well as for studying the Arabic language.

Kings’ School Al Barsha and Kings’ School Dubai offer a limited number of scholarships based on merit in academics, sports, or the arts (including drama and music). Scholarships cover up to 35% of the annual tuition fee.

Places in some of the most popular UAE schools can be more limited for new students, as priority is given to current students moving to the next grade. Competitive schools usually start accepting applications a year before the expected enrollment date.

Most schools require children to take the CAT4 test, which evaluates verbal, non-verbal, quantitative, and spatial reasoning skills, as well as how well the child will fit into the school community and contribute to it, and whether the family shares the school’s values.
